Milton Adolphus Award
The Milton Adolphus Award is given on an annual basis to a student at the LaGuardia High School of Music and Art in New York City for excellence in jazz improvisation. The faculty of the school select the winner on a competitive basis. It is given in memory of the late composer, Milton Adolphus, whose catalog includes over 200 orchestral, vocal and chamber works.
